Hi Silke, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
20 years ago this month I left my motherland in Germany, and made Los Angeles my new forever home! It’s really not exaggerating to say it was love-at-first-sight, and I’ve never looked back. In the past 20 years I’ve built a full life here, including a husband, two children and a career that is never dull.
My real estate career actually started 10 years ago, and was a natural progression from my work with a Hollywood location company, where I had the opportunity to work with some of the most beautiful and architecturally impressive homes in Los Angeles. It must have been written in the stars, because somehow I had the incredibly good fortune to find my way to ACME Real Estate, a boutique design-forward agency, and its visionary broker/owner Courtney Poulos, that was a pitch perfect fit for me. In fact, five years ago I became a broker associate and team leader myself at ACME, and I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented and dynamic professionals in the industry.
As the owner of a ‘character home’ in The Oaks, I’ve developed a deep connection to the Hollywood Hills and Los Feliz, making me not only a specialist, but also a local expert who understands the subtleties of this area, and the iconic architecture and other nuanced features that help define it. I also enjoy working closely with developers as a luxury renovation resale specialist, helping to bring new life to properties – while preserving their unique charm.
For me, real estate is about more than just buying and selling homes. It’s about creating a meaningful experience for my clients, balancing an eye for style, design and beauty, with a solid understanding of what it takes to make a deal that leaves everyone happy. I take a personalized approach to marketing, collaborating with a talented team to produce stunning photography, videos and targeted advertising that truly make the properties shine in their best light. My goal is to make each client feel informed, confident and excited about their real estate journey.
