I chose real estate to empower and educate, ultimately to inspire financial independence, especially for those starting from scratch!
I got my license in 2005, and initially started in the Washington DC metro area (DC/MD/VA). After 5 years of selling, I moved back to Los Angeles and in 2011, founded ACME Real Estate with a vision of creating a groundbreaking marketing for style-forward homes at all price points; and ultimately creating a brokerage culture that stands apart from the big brokerage experience. In 2018, I launched Break Up! with Your Rental, a book that teaches women how to approach home buying and real estate investing from a stronger position.
My biggest success story is the ACME podcast, Under All is the Land. I have had national tv shows, hosted conferences, and been in magazines, but you can’t control the content in any of those outlets. With UAITL, we have complete freedom to speak plainly and honestly about what’s moving and shaking in our industry.
What I love about LA is that we have a dynamic city that people always want to move to! This keeps the market fresh and keeps the trend-makers busy with fresh interior design concepts and inspiration. We are a savvy city! Plus, the transformation energy here is palpable. Rags to riches stories can happen overnight, and real estate is not exempt from that!
