Silke had a wonderful no frills attitude, we knew after talking with her that we wouldn’t be strung along. She also understood what we were looking for, and gave us realistic figures to work with.

Working with Silke Fernald was great, she is knowledgeable and up-to-date with the hustle and bustle of the Los Angeles real-estate market. She kept us informed and always made suggestions when we were at a loss. Being first time buyers, there were many questions that we simply hadn’t considered. Silke would point things out about the different properties, give us background information, and even ask the sellers questions directly. From beginning to end, she helped us every step of the way.

WHAT WAS THE MOST EXCITING PART OF THE HOME BUYING PROCESS?

Seeing all the different properties was exciting. They are so many unique houses and neighborhoods.

FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN YOUR NEW ‘HOOD?

There is a great pizza place here called Danielle’s Wood Fire Pizza (It reminded us of New York!)

FAVORITE ROOM OR DETAIL IN YOUR HOME?

There are a lot of great features in our home… All the lighting is recessed, the floors are hardwood, and there is a front and back yard. If we had to pick one thing though, it might be the cute kitchen window alcove, which faces the south and overlooks the backyard. It’s filled with herbs and succulents, and always brightens our morning.

MOTIVATION FOR BUYING?

We want to start a family and knew that having a home we loved would be a great place to begin.
