4 Fun Things to do in LA This Weekend That Won’t Put A Hole in Your Pocket!

LA is a huge city with many unique and fabulous neighborhoods. A huge goal of ours for the summer is to get out of our comfort zone, and explore LA and all it has to offer! Looking for something fun to do this weekend that won’t cost you a ton of money? No matter where you live in LA, all of these things are worth the drive.

SILVER LAKE FARMERS’ MARKET

Saturday from 8AM to 1PM.

3700 Sunset Blvd (Between Edgecliff Avenue and Maltman Avenue)

You will be surrounded by flowers, food, gifts and local artisans at the popular Silver Lake Farmers’ market. This farmers’ market is fun to go to with friends or alone, and you can browse all of the fabulous shops on Sunset when you are done!

ART DECO WALKING TOUR

Saturday from 10AM-12:30PM

S Olive Street & West 6th Street, Los Angeles (Pershing Square)

Hosted by the Los Angeles Conservancy, this walking tour features gorgeous Art Deco architecture from the 1920s and 1930s in downtown Los Angeles.

Reservations recommended but not required. Members: $5, Non Members: $10

ATWATER VILLAGE FARMERS’ MARKET

Sunday from 10AM to 2PM.

3250 Glendale Blvd, Atwater Village

Check out Atwater Village’s new farmers market! Enjoy a variety of food, fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh baked bread, arts and crafts, live music and home-made goods. Bring your kids for story time at 11:00. Tons of fun for the family!

LA WINE FEST 2012

Saturday from 2PM-6PM, Sunday from 12PM-5PM

Raleigh Studios, 5300 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood

If you love wine, you can’t miss the LA Wine Fest this weekend! Tickets range in prices, but they are definitely worth it. There is even a cheese and wine pairing class (heaven)!
